Key Responsibilities:
Conduct mental health screenings and assessments to identify psychological, behavioral, or emotional conditions. Work closely with primary care providers, nurses, and other medical professionals to integrate behavioral health services into overall patient care plans. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients’ needs. Provide immediate support and interventions for patients in crisis or experiencing mental health emergencies.
Qualifications:
A master’s or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field. Active license and in good standing in the State of Tennessee, eligible for licensure, or in the process of getting a license as a LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. Clinical experience as a counselor, therapist, or social worker with patients who have co-occurring mental health, substance use, and physical health problems.
