Additionally, the Program Manager will provide administrive assistance to the Chief of Outpient Mental Health, Deputy ACOS for MH, and ACOS for MH, in support of the full range of psychotherapeutic service provision within the Service. Duties include but are not limited to: Plans, implements, and provides clinical and managerial oversight to Clinical Services within the Mental Health Outpient Services, primarily through CBOCs, including requirements for staff, program coordinion, educion and training activities, and clinical consultion. Has direct or indirect (through subordine supervision) administrive and professional supervision of subordines. Ensures efficient operions for the provision of services through the CBOCs and MHC. Hold a master’s or doctoral degree in: Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Clinical Rehabilition Counseling; or a reled field, from a program accredited by the Council on Accredition of Counseling and Reled Educional Programs (CACREP). Examples of reled mental health counseling fields include, but are not limited to Addiction Counseling; Community Counseling; Gerontology Counseling; Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling. Supervisory Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor, GS-12 (a) Experience, Educion, and Licensure. In addition to the basic requirements, candides must have least one year of progressively complex experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level. Experience must demonstre possession of advanced practice skills, judgment, and competency. ( b) Assignments . At this level, LPMHCs administrively supervise their licensed staff and/or gradues and are considered LPMHC subject mter experts and may serve as the discipline lead. LPMHCs may provide trement to pients. They direct the development and implemention of services and trement to pients through the administrive supervision, mentoring, and oversight of assigned clinical staff. Their experience must demonstre practice skills in a specialty area or in administrion demonstring progressively more professional competency and judgment. (c) Demonstred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities . In addition to meeting the KSAs for the GS-11 grade level, the candide must demonstre all of the KSAs below:1.
