OT Responsibilities:
BH SME Team is a team comprised of LCSWs and LMHCs that mange a weighted caseload of 150 members. A majority of the caseload will be Tier 3 BH complex cases and Tier 4 (mostly siblings). The BH SME will also act as a consultant (subject matter expert) within their region and provide support, education and guidance with their colleagues within their region.
CMS is seeing an increase in members with complex BH needs and thus the need for a specialty team to provide support to our members and families as well as the team.
CW is Monday – Friday 8 am – 5pm; No overtime anticipated, must remain within the 40 hours
Day to day operations as a BH Case Manager; same expectations as the FTE position
Reports directly to BH Supervisor and BH Manager but attends regional team meetings on a weekly and/or monthly basis and works cooperatively with the regional Supervisor(s) and Manager regarding caseload balancing and BH needs.
The BH SME will manage the needs of their assigned caseload, attend BH Staffings, assist in coordination of care, work collaboratively with any providers/stakeholders in volved with the member and their family and be able to document succinctly in our case management platform all interactions and correspondence.
This is a very independent role wrapped in team and leadership support to ensure best practices, ethical decision making and critical thinking is always in the forefront to ensure service coordination and delivery. Education/Certification

LCSW or LMHC Must haves: At least 5 years’ experience working in the field with children and families and the system of care. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft, able to learn and navigate various platforms.
Nice to haves:
Qualified Supervisors; Clinical Supervisor experience, experience with DCF, DJJ, APD, DOH and /or a CBC or ME. Position is offered by a no fee agency.
