As a Behavioral Health Inpatient Social Worker on our Indian River team, you help coordinate the treatment and discharge plans of those navigating complex psychiatric conditions, family dynamics and crises. Serving as a compassionate liaison and advocate, you will develop a safety plan based on individual needs, ensuring patients are fully supported. Every day, this position allows you to make a difference not only in their lives but also those of their families and communities. A caregiver in this position works weekdays from 8:00AM – 4:30PM and weekends from 7:00AM – 7:30PM. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Participate in the development and implementation of an appropriate assessment based interdisciplinary treatment plan. Complete comprehensive psychosocial assessment. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds. Communicates with interdisciplinary team regarding the discharge planning status of all patients assigned to them. Supervise and/or train social work or counseling graduate students and interns. Intervene with families exhibiting complex behaviors and dynamics. Communicate with and advocate for patients and family members. Intervenes in cases involving abuse and neglect. Coordinate legal resources to ensure protective services and guardianship as necessary. Provide consultation to medical floors, ER and outpatient areas as needed for patients with complex psychosocial needs. Provide individual, family and group therapy as outlined on the treatment plan. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with no record of substantiated ethics or abuse reports Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. Physical Requirements:

A high degree of manual dexterity to produce materials on PC; normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking, occasional lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
