We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate IOP Counselor to join our behavioral health team. This full-time position involves facilitating substance abuse group therapy 3 days per week , along with providing 10 hours of individual psychotherapy weekly. The ideal candidate is experienced in addiction treatment and committed to supporting clients through recovery with evidence-based practices in a structured Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting. ⸻
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate substance abuse group sessions 3 days per week in accordance with IOP standards. Provide 10 hours of individual psychotherapy weekly to clients engaged in substance use treatment. Conduct intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing progress evaluations. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including case managers, medical staff, and other therapists. Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, and training opportunities. Assist in crisis intervention and referral services as needed. Promote a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care environment. ⸻
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Current licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of [Insert State].
