Master of Education Full Job Description Position Summary:

The Mental Health Professional is responsible for providing approved mental health rehabilitation services to clients assigned to them.

Qualifications:

Must have a degree in one of the following:

• Bachelors or Masters of Social Work
• Bachelors or Masters degree in psychology
• Bachelors or Masters degree in a mental health related field
• Bachelors or Masters of Sociology or Human Services
• Bachelors or Masters of Education degree in a mental health related field.

Duties:

Provides community support work to clients and individual or group counseling to clients. May provide group psychosocial skills training to clients assigned. Assess, review, or monitor a recipient’s status in relation to rehabilitation. Identify, report, and maintain weekly appointments for community resources. Submit accurate, legible, and complete weekly counseling notes and service logs. Attend staffing meetings regularly. Assist and positively interact with other team members. Attends all scheduled staff trainings. Participates in ongoing accreditation initiatives and trainings. Acknowledges responsibility to participate in agency growth. Maintains membership in at least one Accreditation Committee Team.
