Union/Non-Union Job Summary:

We’re in search of an Outpatient Clinician for our clinic in Springfield, to work on a full time basis at our Outpatient Clinic, part of our Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Division. The Outpatient Clinician is accountable to the licensed Clinical Supervisor, who is responsible for providing supervision and training. The Outpatient Clinician is the one who actively promotes the philosophy of the Gándara Center, and maintains a high level of commitment to the clinic and its programming.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide psychotherapy and support to children, adults, group and families (in person and via telehealth) Complete comprehensive assessments, risk assessments, individualized treatment plans and progress notes in an electronic medical record Utilize evidenced based practices and screening tools Coordinate care with community-based organizations and provide referrals as needed Maintain 28 billable hours a week Participate in individual and group supervision Attend trainings to expand knowledge and professional growth Attend staff meetings and other required meetings Promote and integrate the agency mission, values and philosophy Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

MSW, MA, or M.Ed in social work, psychology, counseling or related field required. Must be licensed or license eligible for one of the following: LMHC, LMFT, LADCI, LICSW, or LCSW. Must have mental health or substance use treatment experience, strong communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills, and excellent organizational skills. Must have valid driver’s license and meet Agency requirements for driving history records.
