The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and crisis management, with a focus on providing high-quality support to individuals facing mental health challenges. This role requires a commitment to delivering effective psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management services in a hospital or clinical setting. Duties Provide direct support and psychotherapy to clients, ensuring their mental health needs are met. Conduct thorough assessments and data collection to develop individualized treatment plans. Implement crisis intervention strategies for clients experiencing acute distress or emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes. Offer specialized care for individuals dealing with PTSD and other trauma-related issues. Engage in case management activities, including referrals to community resources as needed. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills. Requirements A degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required. Experience in special education or working with diverse populations is preferred. Strong skills in patient care, crisis management, and direct support are essential. Knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and best practices for mental health treatment. Familiarity with data collection methods relevant to clinical assessments. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining client confidentiality. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
