This position is located at the Aiken-Barnwell Mental Health Center, 1135 Gregg Highway, Aiken, SC 29803.This position will primarily provide services in the Community.

Job Purpose Under general supervision, provides intensive family services, in the home/community setting using evidence-based services (safe, effective, and measurable) to promote and support the recovery of persons with mental illness.

Job FunctionsProvides 720 patient care hours annually. Utilizes Multidimensional Family Therapy.

Ensures patients are seen in accordance with their needs, provides family therapy.

Completes clinical documentation using collaborative documentation.

Ensures patient functionality is measured by the DLA-20.Participates in clinical supervision, treatment team meetings, pursues professional development, and demonstrates effective use of socialInterpersonal knowledge and skills.

Reviews caseload weekly for timely discharge, engagement, transition, and follow-up.

Reviews Completes documentation according to

QA/SCDMH

standards, Complies with Corporate Compliance Policy and RiskManagement Plan and Ensures timely completion of prior authorizations.

Performs other duties as needed

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
State Requirement:

A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.

Agency Requirements:

Must qualify for credentialing and privileging as a mental health professional and in accordance with Quality Assurance Standards and with concurrence by DMH Office of Quality Management. Candidate must be licensed; or license eligible by the state of South Carolina and willing to purse license.
