Babysitter/Nanny Chapels House 205 Nesmith Rd, Blountsville, AL 35031 Hours of work are non-negotiable. Monday Through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Background check required. Drug testing required. Must be comfortable working while supervised via video/audio recording. Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide high-quality childcare for one child. The ideal candidate will have experience with infants, toddlers, and children, and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. This role requires a commitment to the well-being of the children in your care, as well as the ability to manage daily routines effectively. Duties Supervise and engage with child in a safe and caring manner. Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and soothing. Plan and prepare nutritious meals for children based on dietary needs. Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children. Assist with homework and educational activities for older children. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety while encouraging exploration and play. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain awareness of children’s health needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Light housework Experience Previous experience in babysitting or childcare is essential. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is preferred. Strong caregiving skills with an emphasis on patience, empathy, and responsibility. Ability to maintain a clean environment while caring for children. Proven experience in meal preparation suitable for children.
