Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and nurturing care for a child Create a safe and stimulating environment for a child to learn and play Engage child in educational and age-appropriate activities Prepare and serve meals and snacks for child Maintain a clean and organized area (help him with his laundry, keeping his room clean, basic living skills, etc) Follow parents’ instructions regarding daily routines, schedules, and any specific needs or preferences Monitor child’s behavior and intervene when necessary to promote positive interactions
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, or working in a daycare setting Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Strong communication skills to interact with both children and parents Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children of all ages Reliable transportation to commute to the family’s location Become CPI (crisis prevention intervention) certified within the first 30 days of employment
Skills:
Educate:
Ability to provide educational activities that promote learning and development in children.
First Aid:
Knowledge of basic first aid techniques to respond to minor injuries or emergencies.
Caregiving:
Experience in providing compassionate care for children’s physical, emotional, and social needs.
Nannying:
Experience in providing personalized care for child on a full-time basis.
Cook:
