The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with young children, including infants and those with disabilities. As an Opener, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring that children receive the highest quality of care and education. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in a safe and supportive manner. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among children. Assist in the daily routines of children, including meal times, nap times, and play activities. Provide caregiving support to infants, ensuring their needs are met with sensitivity and care. Create a welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Collaborate with other staff members to develop and execute age-appropriate educational activities. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the classroom and common areas. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and daily activities. Drive as needed; must have a good driving record to be insured. Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and participate in ongoing training. Qualifications Experience working with children in a daycare, nannying, or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive child development. Familiarity with caregiving practices, particularly infant care. Understanding of early childhood education principles is a plus. Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or special needs. First aid certification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
