Family Assistant Schedule:
M-F 40 Hours Per Week with Flexibility. Occasional weekends and overnights as needed.
Location:

Hourly Rate:
$40+ per hour. Commensurate with experience
About:
A warm and dynamic family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a nurturing, proactive Nanny/Family Assistant to support their two active school-aged children and help manage the household. This is a long-term, full-time position with guaranteed hours.
Overview:
The family is seeking a reliable and responsible full-time nanny / family assistant care for two children, ages 11 and 9 and support family coordination. The ideal candidate will be engaging, organized, and able to create a nurturing environment. This role involves childcare, meal preparation, light housekeeping, driving and laundry.
Responsibilities:
Childcare:
Supervise and engage children in homework completion, educational activities, playdates and outings.
Meal Preparation:
Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children. Some dinner preparation for adults
Light Housekeeping:
Maintain a tidy and organized household, including light cleaning of common areas and children’s spaces.
Laundry:
Wash, dry, and fold laundry for the children and adults 2X / week
Transportation:
Transport children to and from school, activities, and appointments. This includes some highway driving and 45 minutes each way. Must possess a clean driving record.
Organizing Schedule:
Coordinate family schedules, including appointments, activities, and some travel arrangements
Other Duties:
Assist with homework, organize children’s belongings, sort clothes / toys that are outgrown and run family related errands as needed.
Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience caring for school-aged children. Ability to plan and prepare nutritious meals. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Experienced driver Ability to pass a background check and references Must like

A warm, intuitive and proactive personality A calm presence in the home A high E.Q.
Seasonal Hours:
40 hours per week. During the school year the schedule will shift to, typically, M-F 3pm – 8pm. House related work should be done during the day prior to picking up the children. Some weekends or overnights may be required.
