Job Description
Family in Greenwich, CT is seeking a live-out Special Education Nanny. Will provide one-on-one care for their 8 yr old son who is diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Must hold a Special Education Teacher Certification (or certifiability) and have experience working with children with ADHD, ODD or emotional/behavioral differences. Duties include implementing appropriate tools and techniques, and supporting daily routines. Will be responsible for driving to activities/school and preparing snacks/meals. A car will be provided for work purposes. Candidate will work closely with the stay-at-home mother. Ideal candidate is patient, detailed, nurturing and is a team player. CPR and First Aid certification is a plus, but not a requirement. Must swim and be available for travel. Must be dog friendly. Mon-Th, 2pm-9pm & Fri, 10:30am-9pm, but must be flexible with schedule. $DOE, health insurance stipend, PTO and an annual bonus.
