Child Care Director M&M Community Academy 807 Peachtree Street, Cocoa, FL 32922 Overview The Child Care Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of a child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This leadership position requires a passionate individual dedicated to fostering the development and well-being of children while managing staff and engaging with parents and the community. The ideal candidate will possess strong educational administration skills and a commitment to high-quality early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement educational programs that promote the physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children. Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements for child care facilities. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child’s progress, program updates, and any concerns. Manage daily operations, including budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and facility maintenance. Collaborate with community organizations to promote the child care center’s mission and services. Conduct regular assessments of programs and staff performance to ensure high standards of care and education. Skills Higher education teaching experience is preferred to effectively educate both staff and students. Strong background in education administration to manage the operational aspects of the child care facility.
