Their oldest is autistic and nonverbal and while he can’t communicate in typical ways, he has his own way of connecting. Most of the time, mom will be around and you’ll tag team the day together, but there will be times you’ll have all three kids on your own, so they’re looking for someone who’s confident, calm, and comfortable juggling multiple needs with love and patience. Kids are ages 4, 6, and 10.

A little about the role:

• You’ll help care for all three of my kids
• playing, reading, engaging, homework, and helping them through their routines.
• My oldest needs a bit more hands-on support and someone who’s gentle, observant, and open to learning how to best connect with him. He stays home for school.
• School pickups/drop-offs or therapy runs may be part of the day, depending on the schedule.
• Light household help related to the kids is important
• things like tidying up toys, kids’ laundry, cleaning up any toys used outside or in the pool, prepping simple meals/snacks, and unloading the dishwasher.
• I’d also love occasional help with errands such as ordering groceries and staying organized around the house. You’d be a great fit if you are:
• Compassionate, dependable, and have a calm presence
• Experienced with children (bonus if you have experience with special needs or are open to learning!)
• A great communicator who’s collaborative but can also take initiative when needed
• Happy to jump in wherever needed, with a team-player mindset
• Trustworthy, fun, and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids
• Have at least 3 years working with children

Requirements:
