Director Child Care Trenton Learning Academy Child Care Center 722 North Main Street, Trenton, FL 32693 Overview We are looking for qualified, energetic, and fun individuals to implement a Christian-based learning curriculum to our brilliant students, aged 1 years old to school age. Applicants must be friendly, able to provide exceptional customer service to parents as well as have a great love for children . Applicants must be highly stable and dependable individuals interested in making an impact on children and their families. Applicants must have a current VPK Director credential. Responsibilities Manage the overall operations of the child care center, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with regulations. Develop and implement educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. Supervise and support teaching staff to ensure high-quality education and care. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children’s progress and any concerns. Foster a positive relationship with the community and promote the center’s programs. Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments. Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained throughout the facility. Skills Strong background in education administration with experience working with students in early childhood settings. Ability to educate staff on best practices in child development and teaching methodologies. Experience in higher education teaching is preferred to enhance program development. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and foster a collaborative environment.
