The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and higher education teaching, with a commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. This role requires effective leadership skills, the ability to engage with students, and a focus on developing educational programs that meet the needs of our community. Duties Oversee the daily operations of the child care facility, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards. Develop and implement educational programs that promote child development and learning. Supervise and mentor staff, providing training and support to enhance their professional growth. Engage with parents and families to foster strong relationships and encourage their involvement in the program. Monitor student progress and adapt programs as necessary to meet individual needs. Collaborate with community organizations to enhance resources available for children and families. Maintain accurate records related to student enrollment, staff performance, and program outcomes. Qualifications A degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential. Proven experience in higher education teaching or administration is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff. A passion for educating young children and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
