The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our care, ensuring their well-being and promoting their growth through engaging activities. Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Support children’s emotional and social development by fostering positive relationships and encouraging cooperation among peers. Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise. Monitor children’s behavior and provide guidance as needed to promote positive interactions. Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, diaper changing, and nap times. Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience in classroom settings or daycare environments is preferred. Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs. Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus. Previous experience in babysitting or nannying is beneficial. Excellent communication skills to engage with children and parents alike. Patience, creativity, and the ability to educate through play are essential attributes for success in this role. A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
