Job Summary:

We live in Miami and own a business in New York. We’re seeking a warm, responsible, and energetic nanny to care for our preschooler during the summer months at our place in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. The ideal candidate enjoys the outdoors, is comfortable with flexible routines, and is open to pitching in with our active family lifestyle. There is also an opportunity to earn additional income working part-time at our family-run hotel and restaurant, if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate outdoor and indoor activities Prepare meals and snacks for the children Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (tidying toys, kids’ laundry, etc.) Accompany children on outings, hikes, lake activities, and other summer adventures Maintain a safe, fun, and nurturing environment Support children’s routines, including nap times and bedtime when needed Collaborate with parents to ensure smooth daily schedules

Qualifications:

Experience caring for children (nanny, babysitting, camp counselor, etc.) Reliable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with kids Enjoys nature and outdoor activities CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain) Valid driver’s license preferred Comfortable living and working in a shared family environment Willingness to take on part-time hours at our hotel/restaurant a plus (front desk, housekeeping, food service, etc.)
