KH118 – Full-Time Nanny – Miami + Travel Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

Overview A lovely family in Miami is seeking an exceptional nanny to start August 16 for their one-year-old. From August 16 through October 11 the position will be live-in in East Hampton. From October 11 through November 8, the position will be live-in in London. The schedule will typically be 5 days per week, 7am-7pm. The family would appreciate some flexibility for weekend help when traveling. The family will return to Miami after November 8 at which point the position will transition to live-out. Nanny must have local housing in Miami. There will likely be some weekend travel to New York, travel over the holidays, and then longer trips during the summer. This kind and worldly family is looking for an educationally minded career nanny to join their family long-term and be a meaningful part of their child’s life. Must already be local to Miami or willing to relocate and find own housing.

Responsibilities Full child care:

Providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement of the child including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth including designing a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity and help the child progress in development. Transportation to activities, play dates, and outings using provided nanny car. Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, activities, and travel including collaborating with a live-in caregiver who has been with the family long-term Helping with the child’s laundry and with light child meal preparation Nursery duties including: managing the tidiness and organization of the child’s space and restocking baby items such as diapers and wipes Qualifications Warm and nurturing personality Detail oriented and a self-starter, able to read a room, and be full-charge in the role Team player with excellent communication who will keep busy parents in the loop and be happy to have parents pop in when they have a break Excited to work with the toddler age, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next Familiarity with Montessori and open to incorporating it into the home as the child grows A second language would be nice to have but not required Requirements Confident swimming skills and comfortable supervising children in the water Travel ready: experienced traveling with families and current passport/able to travel internationally Driver’s license and clean driving record (nanny car provided) Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.) Legal to work in the US Salary and Benefits $35-45+ per hour plus applicable overtime Health reimbursement 2 weeks paid time off, sick days, and paid bank/federal holidays Must already be local to Miami OR willing to relocate and find own housing.
