Nanny/ Family Assistant Full time Live in Position Available In Miami-Dade, Florida

A formal family of four, in Miami Beach, needs to hire a live-in Nanny/Family Assistant to provide primary care for their infant, though the role will require some assistance with an elementary-age child, as well as lending a hand elsewhere in the home and supporting the Mom.

Responsibilities include:

monitoring the infant’s developmental milestones, engaging in age-appropriate activities/play/outings, diapering, bottle feeding & preparing meals & snacks for the children, sterilizing toys & bottles, children’s laundry & child-related household upkeep, maintaining sleep & feeding schedules, school drop-off & pick up for the older child, traveling with the family & ensuring that the children are properly packed, helping to keep the home tidy (while there are other staff in the home a “can-do” attitude is important for the team), assisting with the care of a friendly & well trained dog, running some household errands and helping with household organization. The role will likely be split 80% childcare and 20% family assisting duties. Must have a valid driver’s license & passport, be able to swim, have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (including infant care), CPR & First Aid certified, be fully vaccinated and provide scheduling flexibility. Applicants should understand how to operate well as part of a team and in a more formal home where boundaries are important. The schedule will likely be 50-60 hours a week with 2 days off but the family does require flexibility for late nights and weekend coverage. Housing is currently a private bedroom and ensuite bath, though they are constructing a new home that will offer more space and privacy.

Salary range:
