Overview A private and busy Florida-based family is seeking a rotational nanny for their two and three-year-old children. The schedule follows a 2-3 weeks on/2-3 weeks off ROTA format, with live-in coverage required during working weeks and live-out during time off, so the nanny must have their own local housing. The family travels frequently, both domestically and internationally, and will fly the nanny back to the home base for off weeks. The position ideally begins June 10, 2025, when the family heads to Newport, RI. Accommodations include a 6,500 sq. ft. penthouse in Coconut Grove and a three-bedroom guest house in Newport. Candidates should be based in South Florida or elsewhere on the East Coast, and will work collaboratively with another nanny on the rotating schedule. Responsibilities Job duties will include care and engagement of the children in developmentally-appropriate activities and outings. Additional duties will include; All children’s laundry and associated chores around the house Food preparation (the family would prefer someone who can cook meals) School drop-off and pick-up. Driving the children to and from activities Keeping the children’s belongings, rooms, and spaces clean and tidy at all times Fully engaging and being active with the chidlren on a daily basis- going to parks and museums, doing arts and crafts, going on walks, etc. Qualifications Experience working a ROTA position in the past with young children Must be energetic, proactive, and committed to being fully engaged with their kids at all times – no cell use on the job Must have a positive attitude Be social and engaging with all family members. Ability to adapt to all environments Have a get it done attitude A passion for teaching and promoting independence is key for this role Full time caregiver when parents travel domestic and internationally. Must be very organized, clean, punctal, and tidy Willing to work during the holidays. Feel comfortable traveling domestically and internationally with family. Working well on a team with involved parents and additional caregivers Fluent in English- the abiliy to speak Spanish is a plus but is NOT a requirement. Requirements Legal to work in US Able to swim Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must feel comfortable and excited to work collaboratively with other household staff Flexibility and willingness to travel whenever needed Must be a strong communicator and have a take-charge personality. Desire to make a long-term commitment to a loving and down to earth family Ability to make meals COVID vaccination Salary and Benefits A competitive salary starting at $130,000, based on experience
