ASAP A kind and busy family in Sorrento, FL is seeking a warm, attentive, and proactive Nanny/Family Assistant to support the care of their 2 children (2 and 5 years old) and assist with light household tasks. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, and comfortable working alongside a parent who is often home.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday or Friday, 8:00 AM 3:00 PM Guaranteed 2832 hours per week Open to occasional weekend hours for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities:
Engage the 2-year-old in age-appropriate, developmentally supportive activities Assist the parent during personal time (e.g., workouts, showers) Tidy play areas and common spaces Load and unload the dishwasher Laundry Declutter and organize toys and childrens items Maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing environment No driving or deep cleaning required
Qualifications:
Experience with toddlers, especially those with developmental delays, preferred Warm, flexible, and respectful of boundaries in a parent-present environment Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset Comfortable performing light household duties CPR/First Aid certification preferred Non-smoker Must have reliable transportation (parking is available at the home) Provide 3-5 professional references Must have U.S. work authorization
