This role focuses on supporting the family with childcare and household-related tasks. While the family employs a full-time housekeeper for cleaning, the Family Assistant Nanny will handle essential daily tasks to ensure the household runs smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to work in a warm and supportive environment, with a consistent daily schedule and a focus on childcare, household errands, and family support. The ideal nanny is proactive, experienced with school-aged children, and confident in managing daily responsibilities with minimal supervision. They should be a safe and experienced driver, comfortable with technology, and have a positive, energetic attitude.

Responsibilities:

Safely drive children to and from school and activities using a family-provided vehicle. Prepare snacks and meals for the children. Assist with family dinner (family will provide guidance on meal preferences). Perform occasional errands including grocery shopping, grocery pickup, and dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up. Support children with homework and review their completed assignments. (Many school assignments are online, familiarity with technology is helpful.) Ensure family vehicles are clean and maintained, including filling gas tanks and vacuuming the interior weekly. Maintain an organized and clean refrigerator and kitchen area including dishes and unloading the dishwasher. Pay Rate $35-38/hr. neg (on payroll) plus paid time off, holidays, and medical benefits. Nannies with 2-5 years of experience and nannies pursuing college degrees or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
