Job Description
The ideal nanny is compassionate, experienced, and dedicated to providing excellent care for children. They should be able to create a nurturing and stimulating environment and have the ability to follow the family’s schedule while suggesting adjustments based on the child’s growth with no screen time. The candidate should be open in communicating with parents, flexible, have a background in education and calm under pressure. Comfortable with household tasks, multitasking and should have prior experience transporting children to school, activities and traveling with a nanny family is required. Responsibilities Plan and actively participate in age appropriate developmental activities for child, including activities that promote physical, emotional, intellectual & social development for 1 and 4 year old (4 year old attends school & camp) Follow the children’s educational plan as outlined by their private educator Actively participate in resolving the child’s problems or interests and serve as a resource for problem solving Comfortable with outdoor play and activities as weather permits Maintain, clean and care for child’s belongings Give medication when required and as agreed on with family Comply with family’s child-rearing preferences Provide flexibility in childcare as children’s schedules and needs may change periodically Comfortable with preparing meals for children and cleaning up after mealtimes Strong multitasker
Requirements:
