Childcare Specialist Confidential 2404 Camden Park Avenue, Davenport, FL 33837 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role requires a proactive individual who can educate and engage children while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Supervise and engage with children in age-appropriate activities, promoting learning and development. Provide care for infants, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing as needed. Assist toddlers with daily routines, including meals, naps, and playtime. Create a safe and stimulating environment for preschool-aged children that encourages exploration and learning. Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children as required. Support children with special needs or disabilities by providing tailored care and attention. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children’s activities, such as cleaning play areas and organizing toys. Qualifications Proven experience in childcare or nannying, particularly with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Strong understanding of child development principles and educational activities. Ability to cook nutritious meals suitable for children. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with both children and parents. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is essential. A nurturing demeanor combined with patience and creativity in engaging children.
