Single child household of a 5 month old girl. Hours could vary but range between 25 to 35 hours a week depending on what the nanny can do (cleaning/meal prep, etc.) The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, be skilled in meal preparation, and possess a strong understanding of child development. This role is perfect for individuals who are dedicated to creating a safe, educational, and fun atmosphere for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers. Responsibilities Provide attentive and loving care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Engage children in educational activities that promote learning and development. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and children’s belongings. Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, and potty training. Foster positive relationships with children by encouraging play, creativity, and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns. Provide care for children with disabilities as needed, ensuring their specific needs are met. Qualifications Proven experience in childcare or as a nanny/babysitter is preferred. Strong knowledge of toddler care and preschool education techniques. Ability to perform first aid and CPR; certification is a plus. Excellent communication skills with both children and parents. Patience, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. A clean background check is required prior to employment. Experience working with children with disabilities is advantageous but not mandatory.
