Manager, Child Care Services Salary Range:
$32.85 p/hr. – $49.25 p/hr. Sarasota Memorial Health Care This leader has operational accountability and oversight, and manages the daily activities of the department or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring team work tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Required Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Early Childhood education or Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) in Elementary Education with twelve (12) hours child development. Relevant professional child care experience can substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.
- Require ten (10) years of experience working in a child care setting with a minimum of five (5) years in a supervisory role, and a minimum of one (1) year of experience working with budgets/financial management or business operations.
- Require Florida Child Care Director credential. Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through to solution.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem solving expertise.
- Prefer demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center based management.
