Children:

Year-Old Girl:

Outgoing and energetic, she is excited to begin kindergarten this fall. She has ADHD (combined type) and sensory processing differences, so someone with experience or understanding in these areas is highly encouraged. 2-

Year-Old Girl:

Enthusiastic and socially confident, she is currently attending daycare. She is day potty-trained and developing strong verbal skills, often expressing herself in complex stories. Focus on foundational learning—such as numbers, letters, and possibly a second language—would be a wonderful asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide consistent, loving care during alternating full-time weeks. Assist with kindergarten transitions and enrichment activities. Support early learning through structured play, reading, and conversation. Supervise naptime, especially for the younger child (typically 12 PM-2 PM). Assist with potty training efforts. Transport the older child to activities (e.g., karate), with mileage reimbursement. Prepare children’s meals and snacks. Conduct light housekeeping related to the children’s needs (e.g., tidying play areas, washing dishes used, etc.). Maintain flexibility for occasional evening work (approx. once every 1-3 months). Collaborate respectfully with a parent who is occasionally working from home on Wednesdays.

Desired Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience caring for children ages 2-6 Familiarity with ADHD in young children Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Excellent communication and storytelling skills Comfortable working alongside a parent at home occasionally Ability to commit long-term and maintain consistency Compassionate, patient, and adaptable personality
