ASAP (Mom returns to work in August) A warm and friendly family is seeking a loving, experienced nanny to care primarily for their 10-month-old daughter. Their 2.5-year-old son is in daycare from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, so the nanny’s focus during the day will be on the baby. After 5:00 PM, both children will be in your care for some light outdoor play or trips to the park. The baby has a predictable routine, including an 8 AM wake-up, breakfast (mashed solids), a two-hour morning nap, lunch and playtime, an afternoon nap at 2 PM, and more play until her brother returns. She also attends a weekly Little Gym class—either dropped off by dad or driven by the nanny using the family car. The mother is currently home but will return to work in August. A live-in houseman handles all major housekeeping, errands, meal prep, and school transportation for the toddler. Your role involves light duties related to the children only.
Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing, age-appropriate care for the baby throughout the day Follow and maintain the baby’s daily routine (meals, naps, play) Engage both children in outdoor play after 5:00 PM Accompany the baby to a weekly Little Gym class Wash bottles and baby dishes Change crib sheets as needed Iron baby’s clothes Communicate clearly and consistently with the parents Collaborate with a live-in houseman and support a harmonious household routine
