Job Description
Nanny – Full Time •(Alpharetta, GA) – Full Time•Care for 3-year-old child with type 1 diabetes and provide support and expertise to parents in satisfying children’s physical,emotional, intellectual, and social needs. Keep a log of child’s insulin and sugar levels by using common readily available insulin meter provided by the health-care professional. Duties include meal planning and preparation, laundry and clothing care, organization of play activities and outings, discipline, intellectual stimulation, and transportation. Remove hazards and develop appropriate boundaries and rules to create a safe environment for child. Instruct child in safe behavior, such as seeking adult assistance when crossing the street and avoiding contact with unsafe objects. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 8am to 5pm. Some weekend and overtime may be required. This is NOT a live-in position.
Position Requirements:
No education required. Must have 12 months of experience as Nanny, or Family Manager, or any position involving care or monitoring children. Background check required prior to commencing employment. Must have U.S. Drivers License or able to obtain one within 60 days of hire. The Employer will provide vehicle as needed.
