Childcare Floater Position Available In St. Tammany, Louisiana

Childcare Floater Tender Years Child Development Center 2490 Florida Street, Mandeville, LA 70448 We are seeking a dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, working with all age groups and assisting teachers. Must be punctual, responsible, reliable and a team player.

Responsibilities:

• Engage children in age-appropriate activities to stimulate and develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills
• Provide attentive care to ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your supervision
• Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior and interactions
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s daily activities and progress
• Diaper children who are not potty trained and assist children who are potty trained
• Giving teachers lunch breaks
• Sub in classes if teacher is out

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting
• Knowledge of classroom management techniques
• Ability to provide infant care including feeding, diapering, and soothing techniques
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred
