Household Dynamic:
This loving, dual-working family is preparing to welcome their second child and is looking for a nurturing, calm, and reliable nanny to support them through this exciting transition. Their energetic 2-year-old son attends a Montessori school during the day and thrives on structure, activity, and play. Most care will be focused on the newborn, especially once both parents return to work. In the first three months postpartum, the family is looking for a dynamic team player who can focus primarily on household management and offer flexible support as needs evolve during this early stage. This includes running errands, managing household inventory, light tidying, family meal prep, and more—allowing the parents time to bond with their new baby and adjust to life as a family of four. Once both parents are back at work, the nanny’s role will transition to be strictly focused on infant care and occasional toddler care when he is home from school. House management tasks may continue during the baby’s nap time. The family has two friendly cats and a small 15-pound dog, and while pet care is minimal, comfort around animals is essential. Mom and Dad value open communication, trust, and collaboration, and are looking for a nanny who feels like a true partner in the home. A calm, maternal presence and someone who enjoys supporting infants and toddlers will be the best fit for this household.
Ideal Candidate:
The family is seeking a warm, experienced nanny who is nurturing, trustworthy, and flexible. A candidate who takes initiative, is comfortable working alongside parents, and can gracefully shift from household management to hands-on childcare as needed will thrive here. Strong organizational skills, emotional maturity, and a collaborative attitude are key. Infant experience is a must, and a calm, gentle approach to toddler behavior is appreciated.
Primary Responsibilities:
Loving care for newborn girl and 2-year-old boy Daily routines including feedings, naps, and developmental play School pick-up or care for toddler when not in school Kitchen tidying and bottle cleaning/sanitizing Children’s laundry and light housekeeping Meal prep and grocery shopping for children and family Household errands and inventory management Occasional pet care (feeding, letting out, etc.)
Qualifications:
3+ years of nanny experience, including infant care Own car preferred; parking available CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable with pets in the home Open to occasional travel with the family (no trips currently planned) Flexible and collaborative, with a calm and nurturing demeanor This is a fantastic opportunity for a nanny who loves working with infants and toddlers and wants to grow with a caring, respectful family. If you’re warm, responsible, and ready to support a growing household with love, adaptability, and consistency, we’d love to hear from you!
