Nanny/Household Manager The Midwest Playhouse, LLC Wentzville, MO 63385 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to create a safe and engaging atmosphere. This role requires a commitment to the well-being of children, as well as the ability to assist with daily activities and routines. About the Family We have four children and run a business + dad travels. We have an almost 5 year old boy, 3 year old twin boys and a 17 month old daughter plus a small dog. The kids attend school during August-May so looking for someone who can help with drop off/pick up, cleaning, organization, laundry, errands etc.. while they are at daycare. This job would also consist of taking them to activities as they get older. We just do not have enough time in the day and need the extra help! Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety at all times. Provide infant care, including feeding, diaper changing, and soothing. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, accommodating any dietary restrictions. Assist with toddler care by organizing playtime, educational activities, and outings. Maintain a clean and organized environment for children, including tidying up after activities. Administer first aid when necessary and respond effectively to emergencies. Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and any concerns that may arise. Support children with disabilities by providing tailored care that meets their unique needs. Qualifications Proven experience in childcare or babysitting, with references available upon request. Familiarity with infant care practices and toddler development milestones. Ability to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children. Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred; certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean environment. Compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both children and parents. Experience working with children who have disabilities is highly desirable but not mandatory.
