The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers, and possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves engaging with children in a classroom setting, ensuring their safety, and supporting their developmental needs. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Implement educational programs that align with early childhood education standards. Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Maintain open communication with parents regarding children’s progress and any concerns. Administer first aid when necessary and maintain a safe environment by following health and safety protocols. Support children with special education needs by adapting activities to meet individual requirements. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team approach to childcare. Skills Experience working with children in various settings (classroom, daycare, etc.). Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Strong skills in toddler care and preschool education. Ability to educate children through play-based learning methods. Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols. Experience or training in special education is a plus. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
