Dog Position Overview:

A wonderful family is seeking a full-time nanny to primarily care for their newborn, with occasional care for their 2-year-old daughter. The newborn, born a month early, is currently focused on feedings and developmental growth. She is an easygoing and adaptable baby who enjoys play mat time and short periods of tummy time. The 2-year-old is a cheerful and cooperative toddler who enjoys outdoor activities such as bubbles and chalk, dress-up, painting nails, and playing games. She follows instructions well and generally responds positively to guidance.

Ideal Candidate:

The family is seeking a nanny who is: Structured yet flexible A clear and detailed communicator Organized, proactive, and takes initiative Active, engaging, and hands-on Outdoorsy and plans educational and developmentally appropriate activities

Qualifications:

CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to become certified) At least 3+ years of professional childcare experience Ability to provide 3 childcare references Must pass a background check Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

Primary care for the newborn and occasional care for the toddler Children’s laundry Sterilizing bottles Loading and unloading the dishwasher General tidying related to the children’s activities The family uses positive reinforcement, redirection, offering choices, and timers to manage transitions with their toddler. They are also lightly working on sleep training with the newborn (without a full “cry-it-out” method).
