SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide children ages 3 to twelve with theme activities and crafts in a safe and enjoyable environment. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and a minimum of six months related experience or; an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work to enhance the Member experience so that each Member becomes a repeat dining guest.
Implement theme ideas for activities and crafts. Follow all of the various written mandatory standards of operation, policies and procedures, manuals, memos, oral instructions; all of which make up the essential functions of the job.
Responsible for obtaining registration forms and all release forms from the parent or guardian of the child participating in the Child Watch program. This is required for every child that attends the program.
Maintain a log containing the number of children attending the sessions in order to track usage. Responsible for developing and maintaining a list of member and specific information such as birthdays and update it regularly to ensure a high level of personalized service. Assist in developing and implementing additional activities and ideas for the theme day sessions. Must report on a regular basis to the Member Relations Manager on all important issues concerning children, participants, members, and guests in general. Follow all BEO’s planned for meals. Be very cognizant of following standard of operations for allergies or special needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe play area at all times. Because of the fluctuating demands of the operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions. Therefore, as an essential part of this position, the Member Child Watch Coordinator will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other Employees are expected to help. Accordingly, the Member Child Watch Coordinator may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or directed. Responsible for cleaning up the work area at the conclusion of the session and taking proper care of any equipment. Report maintenance needs of the equipment to the supervisor.
Responsible for clocking in at the beginning of your shift and clocking out at the end of your shift.
Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication and good rapport with the parents of children who participate in the Child Watch program. This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, efforts, or working conditions associated with the job.
