Family & Household Assistant NextKey Services Weddington, NC 28104 Seeking an experienced, friendly, trusted, reliable, and professional Family Assistant to support our household. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks and responsibilities to ensure our home runs smoothly and our children are safely transported. Hours are 2:30p.m. to 6:30p.m. Monday through Friday; approximately 20 hours per week. We are hardworking entrepreneurs, who work from home and have three active kids ages 9, 12 and 14. Our kids are very active with multiple activities after school. Our youngest is home around 2:30 p.m. most days; two older kids are home from school at 4:30 p.m. The family assistant will be responsible for the following tasks: Driving (including pick up/drop off) to various activities Excellent driving record is a must. General home pickup and light cleaning around the Kitchen/Living Room Coordinate schedules and appointments for the household and kids Cooking and preparing meals for the children, including preparing school lunch Loading and unloading the dishwasher and hand washing dishes Breaking down boxes and taking out trash/recycling Cleaning and putting away children’s laundry Grocery shopping and pantry/fridge organization Managing supplies and restocking as needed (drinks, soaps, paper goods, cleaners) Running errands (dry cleaning, Costco, post office, UPS) Pet Care – assistance with our puppy (walks, letting out, etc.) Special projects such as may include organizing rooms/closets with the children, checking on the house when we are out of town. What this position does not entail: We have a weekly cleaning service, so we are not asking for deep cleaning other than special projects This is not a traditional nannying position as the children are mostly independent; however, it does involve engaging with the children and driving them to various activities.
