Loving Part-Time Nanny/Sitter for Toddler & Autism-Aware Preschool Support – Cary 2.0 2.0 out of 5 stars Cary, NC 27519 We are seeking a compassionate and reliable nanny to provide part-time care approximately two days per week for our 1-year-old and occasional support for our 3-year-old. Our 3-year-old is on the autism spectrum (ASD) and typically attends in-home classes during the day, though occasional full care for both children may be required. Experience with children on the autism spectrum is preferred but not required, as the primary focus will be on our 1-year-old.

Schedule:

Approximately 2-3 days per week (typically weekdays) Occasional evening care (approximately once per month) Occasional weekend days (Saturday or Sunday, typically 1-3 days per month) We are looking for someone who views this role as more than just a job—someone committed to becoming a valued and trusted part of our family. Key Qualifications:

Prior experience caring for infants and toddlers. Familiarity with children on the autism spectrum (preferred). CPR and First Aid certification. Willingness to undergo a background check. Reliable transportation. Non-smoking. College degree in a related field or ABA certification is a plus (candidates with these qualifications will be considered for the higher end of the pay range).

Responsibilities:

Engage in age-appropriate playtime, feeding, diaper changes, and maintaining a consistent nap schedule for the 1-year-old. Provide occasional care and transitional support for our 3-year-old before or after in-home classes. Perform light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas, baby laundry, and washing bottles or dishes. Communicate effectively with parents who primarily work from home but may occasionally go into the office.
