Your time at the before and after school programs will require energy, patience and a spirit of cooperation. The children are either at the beginning or end of their day and caring staff can make all the difference to a child during those important before and after school hours. Manchester Elementary Schools:
McDonough, Northwest, Parker Varney, and Smyth Road. Hours are 6:45-8:45am and/or 2-5:30pm, Monday thru Friday Flexible schedules are available Duties Daily Activities can be planned by using the provided curriculum book and should consist of large & small group activities, child directed activities, and gross motor games. You must be prepared for all responsibilities including: Helping to maintain a safe environment for children and staff Encouraging positive behavior guidance Greeting parents and children daily Helping to train new staff members as needed Attending monthly staff meetings at your program and the NMS main office Following the day-to-day staff assignments Communicating with the office when needed Being a substitute for staff at another location if needed Requirements At least 17 years of age 600+ hours of experience or 3+ EDU/ECE college credits Nice To Haves 1-2+ years experience working with school age children CPR/ First aid certified Benefits Free school age child care (if your child attends a school with one of our locations in it) Yearly return bonus/pay increase
