Oliver’s Nannies 73 Millburn Avenue, Millburn, NJ 07041 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and possess the skills necessary to ensure their safety, development, and happiness. This role requires a proactive individual who can engage children in fun and educational activities while maintaining a clean and organized space. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and engage children in age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and educational tasks. Prepare meals and snacks for children, adhering to dietary restrictions as needed. Assist with homework and provide guidance on educational projects. Maintain a clean environment by tidying up play areas and ensuring cleanliness after meals. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns. Provide basic first aid when necessary and maintain a calm demeanor in emergencies. Support children’s daily routines, including nap times and hygiene practices. Qualifications Proven experience in babysitting or nannying with references available. Strong background in childcare, including infant care and toddler care. Knowledge of first aid procedures is preferred; certification is a plus. Ability to create engaging activities that promote learning and development. Excellent communication skills with both children and parents. A clean driving record may be required if transportation is involved. Patience, reliability, and a genuine love for working with children are essential traits.
