Overview:

We are a warm and fun family in Marlboro, NJ seeking a professional, proactive, and nurturing Nanny and Family Assistant to support our household and children. The ideal candidate is highly organized, child-focused, and capable of balancing childcare with light household management. This is a long-term position for someone who thrives in a busy environment and is looking to grow with a family over time. A key part of this role is preparing and cooking dinner for the family each evening. We have two bright and active children, ages 4 and 5, who thrive with structure, engagement, and creativity. You must be available to travel internationally with the family as needed. Additional compensation will be provided for travel days.

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare Duties:

Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for our 4- and 5-year-old children Plan and engage in educational, creative, and outdoor activities Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children Manage daily routines: school pick-up, play, and bedtime prep Assist with homework, reading, and enrichment Monitor milestones and developmental progress Ensure a safe, positive, and loving environment at all times

Family Assistant Duties:

Prepare and cook dinner for the family each evening (this is a key responsibility) Organize and manage family calendar, appointments, and activities Run errands, grocery shopping, and returns Light tidying, laundry (primarily children’s), and organization Assist with packing/unpacking, and accompany family on trips

Requirements:

Minimum [3-5] years of experience as a nanny or family assistant Strong references from previous families Valid driver’s license with clean driving record Must be able to pass a background check Legal authorization to work in the U.S. CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) Must be comfortable with pets (we have two Bernese Mountain Dogs) Confident in the kitchen and able to plan and prepare simple, nutritious meals Discreet, respectful of privacy, and maintains professional boundaries Must be able to travel with the family as needed (domestic and occasional international travel); additional pay will apply
