A warm and welcoming family in Morristown, NJ is seeking a full-time Nanny/Household Manager to join their home and support their energetic, curious toddler son (2 years old). This family is seeking a professional who can grow with them long-term as they plan to expand their family in the near future.

The Ideal Candidate:

The family is looking for a loving, energetic, and dependable individual who brings both childcare expertise and strong household management skills. A candidate who is organized, engaging, and nurturing will thrive in this home. The ideal nanny has experience with toddlers, enjoys fostering early learning through books, imaginative play, and outdoor activities, and is comfortable supporting vegetarian dietary preferences.

Childcare Duties:

Morning routine and drop-off at daycare (7:30 AM – 8:30 AM) Afternoon pick-up from daycare (4:00 PM) Support learning and development through educational play, reading, outdoor exploration, and age-appropriate challenges Begin potty training support as needed Prepare and serve vegetarian meals/snacks

Household Support:

Walk and care for the family dog (small breed, very gentle) Light housekeeping related to the child (tidying toys, making bed, organizing books/toys) Child’s laundry and basic home organization Preparing breakfast and lunch Occasional evening coverage until 8:00 PM (approx. once per month) Preferred Skills to Include in

Prior childcare experience, especially with toddlers Comfortable working in a home with a pet dog Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for school drop-off/pick-up and occasional outings) Ability to commit to a long-term role Familiarity with or willingness to support a vegetarian household Comfortable with parents working both remotely and outside the home Flexibility for rare extended hours as needed for additional compensation Newborn experience preferred (as family plans to grow) Early childhood development knowledge Household management Potty training experience Meal preparation (vegetarian-friendly) Pet care experience Strong communication skills Time management and multitasking CPR certified (or willing to become certified)
