AS620 – Live-In or Live-Out Nanny – East Hampton, NY Position Available In New York, New York

Overview A down-to-earth East Hampton based family is seeking a live-in or live-out career nanny for their two children, aged 3 and 5. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm- both children attend school during the day, so the family is seeking someone who is able to handle some family assistant tasks during those hours. The family is providing a separate apartment in the same neighborhood and are open to live-out, or a 5 or 7-day live-in depending on the needs of the nanny. Responsibilities Everything related to the care of the children, including supervising meal, bedtime, and hygiene routines Children’s laundry and organization Some basic child-related cooking Managing housekeepers, family errands, researching and scheduling children’s activities Transporting the children to and from school Planning play-dates and activities Travel with the family approximately 1-2 times per year Creating an engaging and enriching environment at home, keeping the children outdoors and active Qualifications Warm, loving, and kind demeanor Health conscious and active Outgoing and fun! Motivated self-starter Strong understanding of childhood development Excellent communication skills The family is laid back and want the kids to be kids and have fun, and they are seeking someone with a similar philosophy Comfortable working as a team with involved parents Looking for a long-term role Requirements US work authorization Able to work long hours, with flexibility for a late evening once every week or two Bilingual would be ideal but is not required Strong swimmer (the family lives near the beach) Confident driver (a car is provided for work use) Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally Salary and Benefits $30-40/hr.
