Friday and Sunday, Live-Out Nanny for a Newborn Position Available In New York, New York

Overview These lovely first-time parents just welcomed their baby girl a few months ago and are looking for a two-day per week nanny to start in late-July. They have hired a full-time nanny, Monday through Thursday, and this part-time position will give them some coverage on Friday and Sunday. Dad is a physician and Mom is an attorney—both have demanding careers outside the home. Bonus points if you speak Spanish or Akan! These languages are a “nice to have”, but not a requirement. Mom had a nanny growing up and she’s looking forward to her child having that special nanny-child relationship. You must have an infant reference on file with us and be up-to-date on all vaccines (Covid, TDAP, MMR) and willing to get a flu shot every season, non negotiable. This position pays on the books, also non negotiable. The Ideal Candidate for this Job The family would love to meet a warm, kind, and experienced nanny, who has extensive experience with newborns under five months old. Candidates must be fully vaccinated and current on all boosters (as above). They’re hoping to find someone who genuinely wants to become part of their lives. Schedule Fridays, 8 AM to 6 PM & Sundays 12 PM to 6 PM About the Children Baby, girl: Born in March of 2025, she’s currently combo feeding, and Mom and Dad are sleep training her. They’re still getting to know her! Responsibilities Primary duties include direct care for the baby—feeding, bathing, and general care—along with light housekeeping related to her. The family is also looking for someone who can engage their daughter in age-appropriate, enriching activities. You’ll follow the schedule that she is currently on and that her full-time nanny establishes for her. This position does not require travel. Vaccinations are non-negotiable. The position will be paid on the books—no exceptions.
