Job Description

A busy family in the West Village of Manhattan is seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced temporary full-time nanny. The position begins immediately, ideally on June 12th, starting in NYC and transitioning to the Hamptons at the end of the month. The family has 5-year-old boy who loves music, Star Wars, and soccer and attends school/camp full-time. They also have a 2-year-old girl who loves books, stuffed animals, and dancing and will be attending camp half days. In addition, they have a 2-month-old baby girl who has a full-time newborn care specialist looking after her. This role’s involvement with the infant will be limited to approximately two hours in the morning while the NCS takes a break. There will never be a time when this candidate will be responsible for all three children simultaneously.

The schedule is as follows:
NYC Dates:

ASAP (ideally June 12th) – June 29th

Hours:

Tuesday-Friday, 7am-7pm (48 hours/week) •

Hamptons:

Hours:

Monday-Friday,7:00AM-6:00PM (Option for overtime available in both locations)

Responsibilities:

Preparing children’s meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner Transporting children to/from school or camp Engaging in afternoon activities; taking the kids to the library, museums, parks, play-dates etc. Bath time getting them into their pajamas, parents will put children to bed.

Desired Qualifications:

Energetic Friendly and enjoys working with children Previous childcare experience and great references Able to work as part of a team

Requirements:

Legal to work in US Available to live-in while in the Hamptons; own bedroom and bathroom provided
