Family Child Care/School Age Registrar Position Available In St. Lawrence, New York

Family Child Care/School Age Registrar St. Lawrence Child Care Council, Inc. 314 Ford St, Ogdensburg, NY 13669 Job Summary We have an immediate opening for a Family Day Care & School Age Child Care Registrar. In this position you will work with prospective and existing Family Day Care providers and School Age Child Care programs providing technical assistance throughout the NYS Office of Children & Family Services registration and/or renewal process. This individual will be responsible for developing and supporting child care providers/programs to increase the quality and availability of child care in St. Lawrence County. Duties Duties will include, but are not limited to, conducting on-site inspections, monitoring inspections, complaint inspections, maintaining records, tracking program staff development and assisting with contract deliverables. Position will require traveling throughout St. Lawrence County with mileage reimbursement for all job related travel. Skills Education and/or experience working in a NYS regulated child care setting (preferred) Knowledge of NYS Child Day Care Regulations (preferred) Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated in individual tasks.
