Schedule:
✔️ 50 hours/week guaranteed ✔️Monday-friday ✔️ 3 days/week (usually Monday, Tuesday, Thursday): 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM ✔️ Other 2 days (Wednesday and Friday): approx. 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM ✔️ Some schedule flexibility needed (e.g., long day may shift to Wednesday on occasion) ✔️ No travel required
Description:
A warm and professional family is seeking an experienced live-in nanny to support their two young daughters in Cold Spring Harbor. The ideal candidate has 2 years of prior live-in nanny experience , is confident with toddlers , and is comfortable working full-time in a busy household. Both parents work full time and are looking for someone reliable, calm, and proactive who can step in seamlessly and become a trusted part of the family.
Responsibilities:
✔️ Full care for the 2-year-old; after-school care for the 5-year-old ✔️ School drop-off and pickup for both children ✔️ Create engaging, age-appropriate activities ✔️ Prepare healthy meals for the children ✔️ Grocery shopping and errands while children are at school ✔️ Laundry for the household (shared while girls are in school) ✔️ Light housekeeping: tidy kitchen and common areas, clean up after kids
Requirements:
✔️ 2 years of live-in nanny experience required ✔️ Must have toddler care experience as a full-time nanny ✔️ Strong driving experience and clean driving record ✔️ Must drive – driving is required ✔️ Verifiable references from similar roles (live-in and toddler care) ✔️ Warm, calm, trustworthy, and independent ✔️ Comfortable working in a home with full-time working parents ✔️ Long-term commitment preferred This is an incredible opportunity for a seasoned live-in nanny looking for a stable, long-term role with a kind and respectful family.
