A warm and thoughtful family in Bedford, NY is seeking a nurturing, professional, and developmentally-minded full-time nanny to care for their 1-year-old son. With a second baby due in late November, the role will evolve to include both children. The family is looking for a calm, experienced career nanny who will be a true partner in their home—someone collaborative, organized, and supportive of first-time parents. Daily responsibilities include preparing toddler-friendly meals, diapering, nap routines, engaging in developmentally rich play, and outings to local activities. The ideal candidate is current on child development, proactive in planning, open to feedback, and confident in guiding early learning milestones. This is an introverted household that values a peaceful and patient presence. The nanny should be comfortable helping with light household tasks such as family laundry, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and keeping the children’s spaces tidy. A quiet, medium-sized dog lives in the home, and the nanny may occasionally be asked to let him out or top off his food. This is a full-time, live-out role from 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overnights and weekends. A vehicle is provided for work-related driving. Position begins July 2025.
